There will be opportunities for free discussion and conversation as well as more structured practice in using tactics and functional language which improve your effectiveness as a speaker
Developing listening skills forms an important part of the course; listening actively to fellow participants; understanding language used in audio and video tapes including different varieties and accents of English; listening and entering into discussion with people outside your course and with a guest speaker. Your attention will be drawn to key features of spoken language; in the language laboratory and in pronunciation workshops you will be asked to work to improve your own pronunciation and use of stress and intonation.
RadianzNeo offers participation in a range of project-based activities leading to short speaking "performances" e.g. individual presentations and a group-based drama sketch. These activities allow you to develop your confidence by using English in challenging situations while at the same time encouraging work on specific language areas that require attention.
